Education

Bachelor's Degree In Economics • New College of Florida • Sarasota, Florida
August 2015 – December 2017

New College of Florida is a unique liberal arts college that does not provide letter grades, but instead gives narrative evaluations, putting the focus of education on personal and academic growth. The Honor’s College of the State of Florida, New College of Florida focuses all of its resources on academics and prides itself on having an independent, graduate school-style learning structure reliant on students producing significant independent research.

I attended New College of Florida for five semesters to finish up my Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Although heavily concentrated in economics, I also became deeply interested in sociology and urban studies. My undergraduate thesis is a multi-dimensional analysis of homeownership in the United States, answering whether or not homeownership is something everyone should aspire to attain.

Associate's Degree • Northwest Florida State College • Niceville, Florida
August 2012 – May 2015

I attended Northwest Florida State College as a high school student via my charter high school located on their campus, Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College. I was an active student of the college, and was able to simultaneously earn my Associate’s Degree alongside my high school diploma.

Northwest Florida State College allowed me to begin my college experience three years earlier than most. Not only was I able to begin my college transcript early, but I was able to participate fully in the college’s activities and organizations with college students, serving as a catalyst for my maturity and development. I held a leadership position serving as the President of Phi Theta Kappa, the college’s honor society. I was also a member of the college’s Forensics Team, competing in numerous statewide tournaments in parliamentary debate, IPDA debate, and persuasive speaking.
